• Email address — if provided for receipts, account creation, or customer support communications.
1.2 — Information Collected Automatically
• Rental activity — including the date, time, duration, and location of each battery rental and return.
• Kiosk interaction data — information generated when you interact with a harborly charge kiosk, such as session identifiers and rental status.
• Device information — general device type or operating system, if applicable through our mobile interface, for compatibility and support purposes.
1.3 — Cookies and Tracking
If you access any harborly charge website or web-based interface, we may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how users interact with our site, maintain session state, and improve our service. You may disable cookies through your browser settings; however, some features of the service may not function properly without them. We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. SMS Communications
harborly charge may send you SMS text messages related to your rental, including:
• Rental confirmation messages.
• Battery return reminders.
• Replacement fee notifications.

By providing your phone number and using our service, you consent to receive these transactional SMS messages. These messages are necessary for the operation of the rental service. Standard messaging and data rates from your carrier may apply.

You may reply STOP at any time to opt out of further SMS messages. Reply HELP to receive support information. Opting out of transactional messages may limit your ability to use certain features of the service.
We do not send promotional or marketing SMS messages without your separate express consent.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
• Service providers — we share information with trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the service, including payment processors (such as Stripe, Inc.), SMS delivery providers, and cloud hosting providers. These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are subject to confidentiality obligations.
• Venue Partners — we do not share individual Customer personal information with the businesses that host our kiosks. Venue Partners may receive aggregated, non-identifiable data about kiosk usage at their location.
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of harborly charge, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same protections described in this Privacy Policy.
5. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our payment data is handled by Stripe, which maintains PCI DSS Level 1 compliance.

6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Rental transaction records may be retained for up to five (5) years for compliance and dispute resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your information as described in Section 7.
